    Temp Mail by Site

A free temporary inbox, plus what to expect on the sites people use it for most: who sends a code, who asks for a phone number, and when a permanent address is the better choice.

    Inbox

    Setting up your inbox

No signup and no personal details. This site keeps no copies of your mail, and images stay off until you ask, so senders can't see when you open an email. How your inbox is handled.

Temp mail for social media and apps

Social apps check new accounts more closely than most sites, and the account is usually one you want to keep. Each page covers what arrives in the inbox and when to use an alias instead.

    Temp mail for Discord

Discord sends a verification email that can expire, and some servers also want a verified phone. Changing the email later needs the current inbox.

    Temp mail for Instagram

Instagram sends a confirmation code to the email you sign up with and may ask you to confirm it again later. You can run up to ten accounts, each with its own contact details.

    Temp mail for Facebook

Meta's rules allow one personal Facebook account, so a throwaway second account breaks them. The email confirmation is a link, and an alias suits your real account better.

    Temp mail for TikTok

TikTok sends a code to the email you use, and each email can link to one account. Changing it later needs the old and new addresses both still active.

    Temp mail for X (Twitter)

X confirms an email sign-up with a Confirm now link, and may later lock an account until it passes a check. X allows up to ten accounts for different purposes.

    Temp mail for Reddit

Reddit sends a 6-digit code to confirm an email and openly allows extra accounts, even several on one address. Vote manipulation and ban evasion are what its rules forbid.

    Temp mail for AI tools

AI tools are often the thing people want to try once before deciding. Some send a code, some a magic link, and a few turn away disposable domains or ask for a phone number.

What most sites have in common

    • A code or a link. Almost every site confirms a new address with a short code or a confirmation link. Codes show up in the inbox row above with a Copy button.
    • Sometimes a phone number. Big platforms often ask for one as well, and a temporary email can't replace it.
    • Blocked domains. Some sites refuse disposable domains outright. That's their call. Use an alias or your real address there. Our disposable email checker shows whether a domain is on the most widely used public list.
    • Recovery goes to the inbox. Password resets and "is this you?" codes go to the address on the account. If you plan to keep the account, change its email to one you keep while this inbox still works.

    Questions

    Which sites accept temp mail?

It changes all the time, because sites update their lists of disposable domains. Each page above says what usually happens on that site. If a form refuses the address, the site has chosen not to accept temp mail, so use an email alias or your real address.

Why does a site ask for my phone number after I use temp mail?

Many big platforms ask new accounts for a phone number as an extra check, whatever email you use. A temporary email can't stand in for a phone number.

Can I keep an account I made with temp mail?

Only if you change its email to an address you keep straight away. A temporary inbox is only kept for a few days, and once it is gone so is any way to reset the password or receive a login code.

Should I use Sign in with Google or Apple instead?

That links the account to your Google or Apple account. Apple's Hide My Email gives the site a forwarding address instead of your real one. If you want no link at all, sign up with email and use temp mail or an alias.
