Temp Mail for Claude
Claude has no passwords. Every time you sign in, Anthropic emails you a link, so the address below works only while this tab is open. Every new account also has to verify a real mobile number, which a temp address does nothing to hide.

How Claude sign-in works
On claude.ai you choose Google, Apple, email or SSO. With email, Anthropic sends a message titled "Secure link to log in to Claude.ai" with a Sign in button. Open it on another device and it shows a code to type on the first one instead. Anthropic says you can't create a password for a Claude account.
Then comes the phone step. Every new account must confirm a mobile number with a 6-digit text. Google Voice, VoIP, app-made numbers and landlines are refused, and one number can verify at most three accounts.
What that means for a temp address
Because every sign-in is a fresh emailed link, a temporary inbox gives you one session. Close this tab and the account and its chats are out of reach for good. Anthropic also says the email on an account can't be changed, so there is no moving it to a real address later.
And since Anthropic gets your phone number anyway, a throwaway email hides less here than on most sites. A better way to keep Claude apart from your main inbox is an alias that forwards to it, such as Hide My Email or a SimpleLogin address.
Does Anthropic refuse disposable domains?
We found no public statement either way. Our inbox's domains appear on the common disposable-domain list, so expect refusals on any form that checks it. If the address is turned down, use an alias rather than trying again.
No login link?
- Look for a sender ending in @mail.anthropic.com. It can take a few minutes.
- Ask for a new link and use only the newest one.
- Stuck on the text message instead? Anthropic suggests waiting more than 5 minutes before pressing Try again.
Questions
Can I change the email on my Claude account later?
No. Anthropic's help says the address can't be changed and advises using one you'll have long-term access to. The only route is deleting the account and starting again.
Can I reuse the email after deleting the account?
Not straight away. Anthropic blocks addresses linked to an account that was active in the last 30 days, and never allows reuse for accounts banned under its usage policy.
How old do I need to be?
18 or over, under Anthropic's consumer terms.
