Temp Mail for TikTok
TikTok lets you sign up with an email, a phone number or another social account. Choose email and it sends a verification code, which shows up in the inbox below. The bigger issue comes later: TikTok wants the old address still working before it lets you change it.

For throwaway signups only. Don't use a temp address for banking, medical or anything sensitive.
Setting up your inbox
Signing up with email
- Pick email on TikTok's sign-up screen.
- Paste the temporary address and press Send code.
- Type in the verification code from the inbox here.
TikTok also asks for your date of birth. Each email, phone number or social account can be linked to only one TikTok account, and its support page notes that Instagram and X aren't sign-up options.
The two-inbox rule
To change the email on an account, TikTok's help says both the old and the new address must be active and verified. With a temporary address, that window closes with this tab. After it, the only route is the Need more help form, which TikTok says can take up to 30 days.
If you might keep the account, change the email straight away, before you close this page.
Code missing
- TikTok's own checklist: look for typos or spaces in the address, and make sure the mailbox isn't full.
- Request the code again and use the latest.
- We found nothing public saying TikTok blocks disposable domains. Ours are on the public disposable list, so it's possible.
TikTok's own limits
Its terms ask for accurate information, and ban false identities and automated scripts. The minimum age is 13, and 16 in Australia. A deleted account's email can be reused after 30 days.
Questions
Will TikTok ask for a phone number?
Not necessarily at sign-up, since email is an option. Each phone number can only be linked to one account if you add one.
Can I keep a TikTok account made with temp mail?
Only if you change its email while this inbox still works, because TikTok needs both addresses active for the change.
Can I sign up with my Instagram or X account?
No. TikTok says those aren't supported sign-up methods.
