    Temp Mail for X (Twitter)

X, formerly Twitter, confirms an email sign-up with a message holding a Confirm now button. It lands in the inbox below. X can later lock an account and ask you to verify by phone, email or a captcha, so the address matters after sign-up too.

    Sign-up options on X

You can sign up with an email address, a phone number, Google or Apple. Phone sign-ups get a text or a call; email sign-ups get the Confirm now email, and X says the link can expire for security reasons. Each email can only be on one X account at a time.

X says it only sends email from @x.com, and since June 2026 its mail carries a verified blue checkmark in supporting inboxes.

    Locked accounts

A "Please verify your account" lock can ask for a phone number, an emailed code or a captcha. Accounts X suspects of automation get a captcha. If X chooses the email route after this inbox is gone, there's no way to receive the code.

    How many accounts X allows

X's authenticity policy allows up to ten accounts for different, non-duplicative purposes. It bans using them to inflate engagement, posting the same content across them, getting round account-creation limits such as phone number caps, and coming back after a ban.

    No Confirm now email

    1. Wait a minute; this inbox checks for mail every few seconds.
    2. Log in to X and use the yellow Resend confirmation prompt.
    3. Check the address in your account settings for a typo.
    4. X's help notes that delivery works more reliably to large providers like Gmail and Yahoo. If it never comes here, use one of those or an alias.

We found no public statement that X blocks disposable email. Our domains are on the public disposable list, so it may not deliver or may refuse them.

    Questions

Can I switch the account to my real email later?

Yes, under Settings and privacy, then Account, then Email. X tells the old address about the change and keeps a record of previous addresses.

Does X need a phone number?

Not to sign up by email. It may ask for one to clear a lock.

    What's the minimum age?

    13.
