Mail sent to it shows up on the page, verification codes are picked out for one-click copying, and you can ask the assistant to summarise your mail or point out likely spam and phishing.

You don't need to do anything. Open temp-mail-ai.com and an address is made for you straight away. Copy it with one tap and paste it into the sign-up form. If a site refuses it, press New address for a different one.

Yes. There's no paid tier, no account and no card, and the AI features are free too. To stop abuse there's a cap on how many new addresses one connection can make each hour (currently 10).

No registration or account is ever required. That's deliberate: we don't want your personal information.

For things that don't matter much, like a one-off sign-up, a download or a newsletter, yes. Don't use it for accounts you want to keep, banking or anything private: the mail provider can see what's delivered, and a temp inbox doesn't last, so you can't count on getting it back. If an email looks off, the Check for spam button gives you a second opinion.

Very little. We don't ask who you are and this site keeps no copies of your emails; the inbox is run by an outside mail provider. IP addresses are held briefly to stop abuse of the AI features, and Google Analytics counts visits. The privacy policy has the details.

This browser reopens the same address for up to 7 days after your last visit, even if you close the tab. Save its recovery key (Keep this inbox, under the address) to open it later or on another device. mail.tm keeps each message for 7 days. Press New address any time for a fresh one.

An inbox assistant you can ask questions, for example to find a verification code, summarise what has arrived or point out likely spam and phishing. Verification codes are also picked out automatically. Separately, the Privacy Scanner checks a website for trackers before you sign up.
